So there I am! Living it up in my 30-somethings with a ridiculously hot hubby, 3 seriously outgoing matter-of-fact smart beautiful kids, a cat named Roxii that just won't quit, 2 chihuahuas named Lokii (what was I thinking) and Brodii who don't understand the concept of pee outside.

I'm a strongly opinionated, outspoken, inappropriate and absolutely unapologetic chick going through this thing called life and trying to do it with my sanity intact. So far, this isn't working out so well!

Follow me as I confession myself straight to the LCBO. My rants, my way...you've been warned ;) Xo

It's Sunday (Funday) and I find myself with so much to do, and yet at a block because I have no idea where to get started.

So many unfinished to do list items and yet all seem to be the priority right now...or so I think.

Finally I sit down at the computer intending to write up a post as majority of them lately have been reviews (which I still have 2 or 3 to complete) and I miss the days of just shit talking for no reason, and quite frankly not really caring if someone is reading them or not. Just typing to get it out helps. It's therapeutic and costs me nothing. You on the other hand are reading it and therefore I am simply taking precious minutes out of your life that you in turn will never get back. Thank you? I think.

Whenever I find I have too much to do and no idea which way to start or how to prioritize what the hell it is I am trying to do, my fingertips magically take me to youtube where I will let them type in the first thing that pops in my head and then I simply choose which song.

Today my reminiscing little tips have taken me to a group of 3 artists that defined quite a large chunk of my tween/teen years and bring back so many amazing, and yet incredibly horrible as well, memories for me but I love them all. They made me the impossible bitch that I am today and at the same time the bestest friend you could ever ask for. These guys, along with quite a unique variety of others, have ultimately been my "go to" for so many years and it has been good to listen to them for the last hour and allow me to finally write something.

The band that I am making reference to if you haven't determined that from just looking at the picture above, is silverchair. Absolutely by far one of the greatest and completely talented trios that I grew up with. Don't agree? Don't care. It's my blog and I say they are so they are :)

So many emotions. So many stories.

You probably would remember them more like this...

I love looking back at pictures of groups (and sometimes it is just photos of places or objects) and remembering that point in your life and where you were, what you may of been doing and you realize how far you've come, what you've accomplished, have yet to accomplish and sometimes just where you need to be headed.

Today is another one of those days for me.

silverchair.

Music is life.

Music reminds me to breathe. To keep breathing.
