So there I am! Living it up in my 30-somethings with a ridiculously hot hubby, 3 seriously outgoing matter-of-fact smart beautiful kids, a cat named Roxii that just won't quit, 2 chihuahuas named Lokii (what was I thinking) and Brodii who don't understand the concept of pee outside.

I'm a strongly opinionated, outspoken, inappropriate and absolutely unapologetic chick going through this thing called life and trying to do it with my sanity intact. So far, this isn't working out so well!

Follow me as I confession myself straight to the LCBO. My rants, my way...you've been warned ;) Xo

Sisterly Love Jacket by Peekaboo Beans

I was approached a bit back and asked if I would like to host a review of a children's clothing line. Normally I tend to check out the site and usually opt out of the review for a variety of reasons. However upon visiting Vicky's website and taking a look at the Fall 2011 catalogue for Peekaboo Beans, I simply couldn't help myself.

Now, I'm very much NOT a girly girl, but I do have 2 very VERY girly girls ages 3.5 and 5. Being that I would prefer to grab myself a sweater and a pair of sweat pants, this Fall line is edgy, it's hip, it's fun and I'll tell you right now, washes like a champ!

So going through we chose to go with the Sisterly Love Jacket in the Lilac (because we all know if I ordered Bark -- or anything resembling a brown -- my daughter would go on strike from speaking to me). We went ahead and picked this selection and waited for it to arrive via mail.

Finally it arrived! It was like early Christmas for Moose and she was very excited. So let's talk about this jacket. Not only does it come is sizes 1-8, but it features include the full zipper, a french terry material, front pockets (because let's face it, a jacket without pockets is not meant for little ones), binding detail and the BEST feature of all...THUMBHOLES!!! Why does this feature rock the most? Because I have to manually make holes in my sweaters to hold the sleeves down etc and this jacket comes equipped. Even Moose thought this was the coolest part about the jacket.

She has managed to take it off...long enough for me to machine wash and dry it for the mom test, and now she is wearing it again. It does get a little cool here and there, but as long as she's got her sweater on underneath she's good to go.

It also doesn't hurt that I've been asked 2 times where I got the jacket as they hadn't seen it before. My kid was the cool kid!!!

So take a few minutes, head over to Peekaboo Beans and see what she has going on. If you have little boys OR girls, you will most likely find something that you just HAVE to have...err that they want I mean!!!
